What is hypnosis?
Hypnosis is bypassing of the critical factor of our conscious mind in order to make suggestions to our subconscious mind. It is placing yourself in a suggestible state in order to make effective changes. Hypnosis is a focus of attention.
You do not need to be in a trance to be hypnotised.
Hypnotherapy uses hypnosis as a primary tool to help you change old beliefs or unwanted behaviours.
What is hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is a non invasive therapy where hypnosis is used for therapeutic purposes. Clients are always in control and aware of everything that is said. A ‘hypnotic trance’ has been described as being in a wonderful deep state of relaxation and calm and can be likened to that moment just before you are fully awake or fully asleep.
It may help with anxiety, pain, stress and phobias as well as breaking habits such as nail biting, smoking and emotional eating.
Hypnotherapy is essentially about learning to use your imagination to solve your problems and discover new possibilities.
Therapy can either be problem focused or solution focused. Solution focused therapy aims to find solutions in order to enable the client to move forward. Problem focused therapy will focus more of how the problem has arisen and look to heal the past before moving on
What is reflexology?
Reflexology is a gentle, non-invasive touch therapy usually performed on the feet. It encourages the body to heal and is extremely relaxing. Keys points on the foot are pressed, stimulating the corresponding areas of the body in order to encourage the body to become more balanced.
How long are the sessions?
Reflexology and Counselling sessions are typically an hour long.
Hypnotherapy is usually one and a half hours. Under 12's normally have a one hour session.
Massage Therapy can be one hour, one and a half hours or two hours.
